The BETTY HAYES BAXTER LEGACY STAGE Dedication Ceremony Come celebrate the life and legacy of Betty Hayes. This is a donation/fundraising event with donations dedicated to stage renovations (rigging, curtains, and lighting).

About the event
"Betty Hayes Is An Institution In Dance Who Has Brought The Art Of Dance To Thousands Of Students Over Decades By Unwaveringly Living Her Bliss Of Not Only Teaching Dance, But Teaching The Love Of The Arts."
With 77 years of experience owning a dance studio, mentoring teachers, and teaching thousands of students, Betty Hayes-Baxter has built a legacy for a lifetime. Part of her legacy was teaching over 10,000 students to dance on the stage at the Richland Center City Auditorium (est. 1913).
The Board of the Richland County Performing Arts Council is renovating the Auditorium and plans to name the stage "The Betty Hayes Baxter Legacy Stage" to honor Betty both now and into the future. Your generous donation will help fund the stage renovation project. Thank you!
